This is a 3D model of a 40-foot shipping container in signal orange.
Shipping containers, also known as sea containers or overseas containers, are transport containers that were originally designed for transporting goods across the oceans.
They are also used for other purposes such as storage, mobile offices, or even as living space.
RAL 2008 is a signal orange colour that is often used for containers that need to be easily recognisable, e.g. in high-risk environments.
The model has been realistically modeled in 3D and pbr-textured.
It was developed and optimized for real-time applications such as 3D visualizations or computer games, but is also suitable for complex renderings.
To make it as easy as possible to insert and move the model in a 3D scene, the insertion point (object origin) was set to the bottom centre of the bounding box.
The textures have a resolution of 8192 x 8192 px (8K) and follow the PBR workflow (Base Color, Roughness, Metalness, Normal).
