Here you can see a 3D model of a alnus glutinosa tree in winter.
The alnus glutinosa (black alder) is a medium-sized deciduous tree from the alder genus and belongs to the birch family.
Alnus glutinosa trees are widespread throughout Europe, as well as in Asia and Africa.
The bark and inflorescences are used for tanning because of their tannin content, and the cones are used to make ink.
This tree has a height of 16 m and is modeled on reality.
The 3D model was developed and optimized for real-time applications such as 3D visualizations or computer games, but is also suitable for complex renderings.
To make it as easy as possible to insert the model into a 3D scene, the insertion point of the object was chosen at the root of the tree.
The textures have a resolution of 4096 x 4096 px and follow the PBR workflow (basic colour, roughness, metalness, normal).
