Here you can see a 3D model of a common horse chestnut tree in spring.
The common horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), also known as the white horse chestnut, is a plant species from the horse chestnut genus within the soapberry family.
Horse chestnut trees are found throughout Europe.
The horse chestnut can be recognized by its large, palmate leaves with five to seven individual leaves and its upright, cone-shaped white inflorescences. Its fruits are spiky, green capsules containing 1-3 shiny brown seeds (horse chestnuts), which serve as popular ornamental and shade trees in parks and gardens.
This tree has a height of 21 m and is modeled on reality.
The 3D model was developed and optimized for real-time applications such as 3D visualizations or computer games, but is also suitable for complex renderings.
To make it as easy as possible to insert the model into a 3D scene, the insertion point of the object was chosen at the root of the tree.
The textures have a resolution of 4096 x 4096 px.
